LOBA Speed – 1K parquet lacquer for fast & long-lasting sealing

Description
LOBA Speed is a ready-to-use, water-based, one-component parquet lacquer specially developed for parquet and wood floors. Thanks to its high solids content and special formula, Speed achieves a layer thickness equivalent to a classic three-coat system with just two applications – resulting in a fast, high-quality, and durable finish.

🛠 Intended use

LOBA Speed is suitable for almost all types of wood and parquet flooring and is ideal for living spaces, heavily used private areas (hallway, kitchen, living room) – as well as for projects with light commercial use.

🔧 Processing instructions

The wood surface must be professionally sanded, clean, dry and free of old coatings, wax, oil, dust or contaminants.
Speed is ready to use and must not be diluted .
Apply with a suitable paint roller (e.g. LOBA paint roller Deluxe 120) – consumption approx. 120–150 g/m² per coat.
After approximately 4 hours of drying time, an intermediate sanding can be carried out – the floor is therefore often finished on the same day (one-day system).
For optimal results: apply a second coat if necessary, carefully remove dust and allow to dry completely.

Recommended setup

1. Sanding and preparing the surface
2. Apply first coat of LOBA Speed
3. After approximately 4 hours, intermediate sanding may be necessary.
4. Apply a second layer of Speed
5. Surface care or use after complete drying.

ℹ️ Special features & notes

Speed is particularly suitable when fast completion and high-quality, durable sealing are required.
Due to its high solids content and environmental properties (low emissions), the paint is also suitable for interiors with high demands on indoor air quality.
For heavily used commercial floors or maximum abrasion resistance, a 2K sealant may be recommended — check out the products in the LOBA 2K line.
