LOBA 2K ImpactOil Transparent – Heavy-Duty 2K Oil for Natural Wood Surfaces

LOBA 2K ImpactOil Transparent is a high-performance, two-component high-solid oil for the natural finishing of parquet and wood surfaces. It combines the warm, authentic look of an oiled floor with exceptional durability – ideal for high-traffic areas.

Thanks to innovative 2K technology, the oil offers particularly high resistance to mechanical stress, as well as to water and household chemicals. The transparent version accentuates the natural grain of the wood and provides a uniform, matte to semi-gloss surface with a pleasant feel.

🛠 Processing Instructions

Substrate Preparation

• Substrate must be dry, clean and load-bearing
• Sand wood surface professionally (recommended final sanding: grit 100–120)
• Thoroughly remove sanding dust

Mixing

• Mix oil with hardener carefully according to the specified mixing ratio
• Observe limited pot life after mixing

Application

• Apply thinly and evenly (e.g. with trowel, roller or pad)
• Carefully remove / work in excess material
• Evenly level for an optimal surface

Drying & Intermediate Sanding

• Observe drying time between coats
• If necessary, intermediate sanding or polishing for a particularly uniform appearance

Second Coat (optional)

• A second coat is possible depending on the traffic and desired appearance
• Avoid excesses to prevent shiny spots

⏱ Drying & Load-bearing Capacity

• Lightly walkable after sufficient drying
• Usable after complete drying
• Final resistance achieved after complete curing

• Ensure good ventilation during application
