LOBA KorkCare 1L – Care Product for Varnished Cork Floors

Water-based protection and renewed freshness for sealed cork surfaces

LOBA KorkCare is a water-based dispersion care product for the maintenance and protection of varnished cork floors. The applied care film protects the sealed surface from fine scratches and signs of wear, prevents premature wear and tear, and helps extend the life of the floor.

KorkCare brings new shine to worn and tired cork floors and preserves their value and well-maintained appearance in the long term. The product is suitable for semi-matte and glossy varnished cork coverings and is also ideal for UV-varnished surfaces.

🛠 Application Instructions

Floor Preparation

• First, remove loose dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner, broom, or mop.

• Then clean the surface with a damp cloth using LOBA CleanFix or Cleaner.

• Firmly adhering dirt and old care product residues must be removed by suitable basic cleaning before care.

• Shake LOBA KorkCare well before use.

Application

• KorkCare is ready-to-use and must not be diluted.

• Apply the product in sections on the floor.

• Then distribute evenly with LOBA Wischwiesel or a suitable flat mop.

• Keep the application tool as flat as possible on the floor and work without pressure.

• Work from one side of the room to the opposite side towards the exit.

• Treat a room as completely as possible in one pass.

• Do not rework the surface during drying, as this can lead to streaks.

⏱ Drying & Loadability

• Walkable: after approx. 1–2 hours

• Fully loadable: after approx. 12 hours

• Coverable: after approx. 12 hours

During drying, the surface should not be reworked or unnecessarily stressed.

♻️ Basic Cleaning & Renewal

KorkCare forms a protective care film that can be removed again if necessary.

For basic cleaning and removal of old KorkCare care layers, LOBA recommends CareRemover. Afterwards, the cleaned floor can be treated again with KorkCare.

• Applying a care layer can change the properties and/or gloss level of the existing surface.

• For areas with requirements for slip resistance or sports floor suitability, the corresponding test certificates must be observed.
