LOBA ParkettOil is a high-quality maintenance oil for oiled, non-film-forming parquet and wood floors. It revitalizes worn and scuffed surfaces, evens out minor signs of wear, and preserves the natural, well-maintained appearance of oiled wood floors.

The maintenance oil is suitable for full-surface care as well as for partial touch-ups of individual stressed areas. Minor damage to the existing oil surface can be refreshed without the need for a complete renovation of the entire floor.

A special advantage: LOBA ParkettOil maintains the anti-slip properties of oiled floors, making it ideal for regular professional care and value preservation.

🛠 Application instructions

Floor preparation

• Shake material well before use.

• Remove loose dirt and dust completely with a vacuum cleaner, broom or mop.

• Then, if necessary, clean the surface with a damp cloth using LOBA CleanFix or Cleaner.

• Firmly adhering dirt and residues of old care products must be removed by suitable deep cleaning before application.

• Before applying ParkettOil, the surface must be completely dry.

🖌 Application on newly laid or freshly oiled floors

1. Clean the floor thoroughly to remove dust – sweep or vacuum.

2. Apply LOBA ParkettOil evenly with a lint-free cloth or LOBA Wischwiesel.

3. Carefully level any excess material.

4. Avoid puddle formation at all costs.

In case of adhering dirt, the floor can be cleaned beforehand with a damp cloth using LOBA ParkettSoap. Apply ParkettOil only after complete drying.

🔄 Application on used floors with signs of wear

For already used and stressed floors:

• Clean the surface thoroughly with LOBA Cleaner or LOBA ParkettSoap.

• If necessary, the surface can also be leveled mechanically with a slightly abrasive LOBASAND SpecialPad beige or green.

• Allow the floor to dry completely.

• Then apply LOBA ParkettOil evenly.

In case of more severe damage, rework with a suitable impregnating oil may be necessary.

🏢 Application on larger areas

On larger floor areas, LOBA ParkettOil can be applied using the SprayCleaner method.

• Spray ParkettOil evenly.

• Then mechanically level with a single-disc machine and a LOBASAND SpecialPad white.

• Avoid excess material and puddle formation.

This also makes the product ideal for professional maintenance of larger parquet and wood floor areas.

⏱ Drying & load-bearing capacity

• Carefully walkable: after approx. 4–6 hours

• Fully loadable: after approx. 12 hours

• Coverable: after approx. 12 hours

Ensure adequate ventilation of the work areas during application and drying.

⚠️ Not for non-absorbent oil surfaces

On non-absorbent substrates, for example, newly laid or barely used, factory-UV-oiled parquet floors, ParkettOil cannot penetrate sufficiently into the wood.

This can lead to wetting disorders and/or significantly extended drying times.

For such surfaces, LOBA recommends, for example, Permanent OilCare as an alternative.

⚠️ Important safety notice

Rags, pads and other tools soaked with oil can self-ignite.

Moisten oil-containing working materials and sanding dust with water according to the manufacturer's instructions and store in a sealed container or dispose of them safely to prevent fire.

Ensure careful ventilation during processing and drying.
