LOBA SportFinish is a high-quality, single-component, water-based lacquer designed for sports and multi-purpose halls. It meets the slip-resistance requirements of the European sports floor standard and combines robust durability with safe, sport-appropriate surface traction. 🔧 Application Instructions

1. Subfloor Preparation

• Clean the floor thoroughly; keep it dust- and grease-free.

• For renovation: abrade old coatings (intermediate sanding).

• Remove all sanding dust.

• Room conditions:

  • Temperature: 15–25 °C

  • Humidity: 35–65 %

2. Priming (for new installations)

Recommended LOBA primers:

• EasyPrime

• VivaPrime

• or other compatible LOBA system primers

After drying, perform a fine intermediate sanding.

3. Lacquer Application

• Tools:

  • LOBA AquaRoller / Deluxe 120 roller

  • Alternatively: high-quality microfiber roller (8–10 mm)

• Application rate: 100–120 ml/m² per coat

• Coverage: approx. 8–10 m² per liter

• 2 coats for renovation

• 2–3 coats for new installations

4. Drying Times

• Walkable / recoatable: after approx. 4 hours

• Light use: after approx. 24 hours

• Fully loadable / covering permitted: after 5–7 days

For optimal curing: avoid drafts but ensure good ventilation.

5. Tips for Best Results

• Apply lacquer evenly and generously; avoid rolling too dry.

• Work edges quickly (wet-in-wet).

• Avoid direct sunlight and high temperatures during application.

• Do not dilute the lacquer.

• Clean tools immediately with water.

6. Aftercare

• First cleaning no earlier than 5 days after application.

• Maintain sports floors regularly with LOBA SportCare & CleanFix.

• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
