🛠 Areas of Application

VivaFill is used for clean and reliable filling of joints and small imperfections in glued-down parquet and wooden floors.

Note: Floors with wide or heavily soiled gaps, as well as nailed or screwed wooden constructions, should not be treated with conventional wood filler, as the filler may loosen.

🔧 Application Instructions

Substrate Requirements:
The wooden surface must be professionally sanded, clean, dry, and free of old coatings, oil, grease, wax, silicone, sanding dust, or other contaminants.

Ideal Working Conditions:

• Room temperature: +15 °C – +25 °C

• Floor temperature: +15 °C – +22 °C

• Relative humidity: 40 % – 75 %

• Product temperature: +18 °C – +25 °C

• Maximum wood moisture content: 12 %

Mixing & Application:

• The product is ready to use – do not dilute.

• Typical consumption: approx. 50 ml/m² (≈ 20 m² per liter), depending on gap width.

• Apply VivaFill after medium sanding (e.g., grit 60) and before fine sanding (e.g., grit 100).

• Mix VivaFill with fine sanding dust of the same wood species to form a pasty mass. The finer the dust, the better the filling and adhesion.

• Apply the mixture diagonally across the wood grain using a stainless-steel spatula.

Drying Time:

• Fine joints: sandable after approx. 20 minutes.

• Larger joints or repair areas: may require overnight drying.

• Can be recoated with LOBA finishes or sealers after approx. 60 minutes.

After Application:
Once dry, sand the entire surface thoroughly to remove excess filler and prepare the floor for finishing.
